Founded in 1983, NAMC, formerly NTCMC, is a permanent body of Chinese mayoral training as well as a fully-funded department & bureau-level institution directly under MOHURD. Under the leadership of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, MOHURD and the China Association for Science and Technology, NAMC works on the training of mayors of the officially designated cities, vice mayors in charge of urban construction as well as relevant leading cadres, which involves urban planning, construction, and management and aims to enhance mayors’ capability to effectively manage modern cities.
The content of the cooperation between NAMC and us:
• Mayors’ training lectures and class teaching
• Small mayoral forums/activities
• Writing of training materials
• Collaborative research programs
• Domestic field investigations for mayors
• Overseas research and site investigations for mayors
